Imo state governor-elect, Hon Emeka , has been advised to employ the services of in tracing and from the state coffers.

Chief Maxwell Umunakwe, a frontline politician in the state who made the suggestion while fielding questions from newsmen recently in Owerri, argued that the looting done by the outgoing government was so enormous that only through the use of that the loots will be recovered. According to him many people in the ministries, agencies and departments of the state would be willing to give information that can lead to the recovery of and landed properties.

Chief Umunakwe equally opined that the are to be given certain percentage of the correct information given towards recovering the enormous loots both in cash and kind.

He stressed that stands better chance of if he buys “this idea of whistle blowing method to recover both government and individual lands, government equipments like IROMA trucks, caterpillars, earth moving equipments, vehicles, generators, transformers and one of best printing machines at the Nigeria statesman newspapers, just to mention a few”.

He said that bank officials should equally help the incoming government through whistle blowing to reveal how money was moved to the new government or the EFCC.
