is a Nollywood actress, who joined the movie industry in 2009, after a decade in modelling for a soap company. Her first movie was titled ‘Sincerity’, produced by Stanley Egbonini and directed by Ifeanyi Ogbonna.

was born Ijeoma . She is the third child of five children, born on August 17 and raised in Cotonou, Benin Republic. She is married to Mr. Chukwuma Orizu. Together the couple has a son: Chamberlain Orizu.

In an interview, she usually makes conscious effort to separate her family from the media. She also debunked rumours of a breakup in her marriage.

She studied theatre arts at the University of Lagos. She also attended Lagos State University, studying public administration.

Her break into the limelight came after she starred in Holy Serpent.  In 2014, she was described as one of the “most sought after actresses” in Nollywood by Vanguard newspaper, as well as a “popular actress” that interprets roles with ease by The Nation newspaper.

She has also stated her desire to record gospel music in the future as well as her intentions to go into film production. Speaking on her musical aspirations, she has written numerous songs and would release her album soon, describing music as something that has always been a part of her.

She has so far appeared in more than 100 films since 2009 and in 2015. She won the City People Entertainment Awards for Best Supporting Actress in an English film.

In a 2014 interview, she explained that her mother was not comfortable with her acting on religious grounds. She also stated that she wouldn’t act nude irrespective of the fee, explaining that even in the industry, like Genevieve Nnaji, didn’t need to go unclad to become a star. She also cited her cultural beliefs as reasons for dressing conservatively in films.

The marital status of has been a topic of speculation for years with constant reports of her marriage breaking up, which has refused to confirm or deny. When recently asked that her fans are curious about her husband and the state of her marriage, she had this to say, “Why? Why do they want to know? Were they there when he ‘toasted’ me? Were they there when we got engaged and married? They weren’t there, so, they shouldn’t ask such questions. I have told you before that I am very different.

You understand what I am trying to say? Most times, I don’t grant interviews, because, when I do, they write other things. However, there are things I don’t want the media to know about. If I wanted you to know, I will post it and you will read it. If you watch, most of the things they write about me are the things I posted. If I don’t post it, you cannot write. My life is my life, and the media is the media. My act­ing career and my family are two different things all together. I won’t bring my family or anything personal to the media, so, my fans should just keep watching. She lists other celebrities like Genevieve (Nnaji), Omotola (Jalade-Ekeinde), Ramsey (Nouah), Pete Edochie and a lot of other great acts as in the industry.
