She is the Founder/CEO of LEAP Africa, a non-profit organisation, which is committed to inspiring, empowering and equipping a cadre of African leaders, and the Founder of Ndidi is also the founder of NIA {Ndu (Life), Ike (Strength), Akunuba (Wealth}, a nonprofit organisation committed to empowering female university students in Southeastern Nigeria to achieve their highest potential in life.

Ndidi Nwuneli is the co-founder of AACE Foods, an indigenous agroprocessing company and a director of Sahel Capital & Advisory, a leading advisory firm focused on the agribusiness and manufacturing sectors. Through her with Sahel and AACE, she has shaped agriculture strategy and policy and supported a range of clients in Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Togo and Liberia, including ECOWAS, Oxfam International, AGRA, USAID, UNECA, Technoserve, and the Conference of African Ministers of Agriculture for West and Central Africa.

She started her career as a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company, working in their Chicago, York and Johannesburg Offices, with a focus on fast moving consumer goods. She returned to Nigeria in 2000, to fulfill her passion of promoting entrepreneurship and leadership development in Africa. She served as the pioneer Executive Director of the FATE Foundation from 2000, and then established LEAP Africa, and NIA in 2002 and 2003 respectively.

LEAP Africa works in eight Nigerian States, including Anambra , where it has supported entrepreneurs and youth and trains teachers through its Leadership, Ethics & Civics Programme, with laudable impact made in the Awka and Onitsha academic system.

NIA empowers female university students to achieve their highest potential in life, while LEAP Africa provides leadership, ethics and management training and coaching for youth, business owners, social entrepreneurs and the public sector.

She obtained her undergraduate degree with honors in Multinational and Strategic Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. During her at Harvard, she founded the Annual Africa Business Conference. Ndidi writes and speaks widely on a range of topics including youth employment, entrepreneurship, leadership, agribusiness, ethics and management. Her first book- Walking for God in the Marketplace was published in 2005.

“Ndidi has received numerous honors and awards: She was recognised as a Global Leader of Tomorrow and Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and received the Young Manager of the Year 2005 Award by Thisday Newspapers and Excellence Award from the Africa Business Club at Harvard Business School. The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, conferred her with the National Honor, Member of the Federal Republic, MFR.
