in Abuja, through the LiveBridge Charitable Foundation, Monday, extended its support to Home located at Kuje, Abuja, FCT.

1.5 KVA solar systems, 10 mattresses, 54 square yard of rubber carpet, first aid kits and food items to assist in the upkeep of inmates.

In a ceremony at the Residence, 7 Sakete Close, off Cairo Street, Wuse 2, Abuja, to hand over the items on behalf of the , Mr. Uraiwan, staff, said the gesture was a response to a demand by LiveBridge Charitable Foundation, which requested the  to assist the Home.

Uraiwan, who said that distribution of gift items to charity homes has been annual tradition of the , noted also that it would continue to partner relevant institutions and groups to provide succour to the needy.

While receiving the items on behalf of the Home, the founding priest, Rev. Fr. Anthony Chidi Ananwa, praised the embassy for its humanitarian gesture and disposition; stating that the previous year, the Home with sporting kits and food items. He also urged well meaning Nigerians, as well as governments at all levels to take clues from the and support the Home.
